Bruce and I use Flickr to store all of our photos 46.46 GB. I’ve been using it since the infancy of Flickr. I have over 27,343 photos in our account. So many reasons why I love it. It’s easy to find photos and organize them is first and foremost.
I upload all my projects into flickr and have an album marked studio. I can then pull that slideshow up on my Apple TV in the studio and have it on rotation. When clients come in they can see our work on the big screen. It never fails they will see something up there and say hey I didn’t know you could do that.
Another great feature it automatically backs up any photo we take on our mobile devices. Since my phone runs out of space quickly I can delete photos and never worry about deleting them forever. It also backs up any photo on my computer automatically. That’s right I said automatically.
I also can pull in pictures from the flickr library right into my wordpress post. This saves so much space on my server. Why use my server to host images when I can use flickr.
One of my favorite things… are surprise pics. Like these ones… I didn’t take them Bruce did on Friday night. So when I went through the latest photos to see what to blog about this week I got a little peek into what caught Bruce’s eye this week.
These are the ones I got that day…
