It’s mid summer. . . and I’m not ready. Seriously, I just got our porch ready for summer and it’s still not in tip top shape. Moving the studio outside of the house was a great move but it’s set me behind like a month. This week was the first time I went flower shopping. It’s crazy! Plus my gardens had a month of no weeding. And they have decided to be a jungle. After a morning of weeding and planting and porch decorating I decided we needed a cupcake tea break. Is your porch in tip top shape? I bet yours is. I know my mom’s is… At any rate this is where we are in mid July…
Red and Blue… Bee Balm and Hydrangeas
My aloe plants had MORE babies!
My favorite tea set. I had to dig them out of the basement today
I always have a paperweight outside… This is my second studio;)
Our limes are ready for vodka and tonics or mojitos!
The cupcakes were peanut butter and chocolate chip. Bruce had a cream cheese blackberry one. We picked them up at our local farmer’s market from the Gypsy Moon Cakery. Check out their facebook page.
I always have plenty of candles for the night.
