Remember in November when you can’t wait for that first snowflake to fall. It’s all enchanting and beautiful… I’m over that.
Remember, last week it was like 60 degrees out that was a horrible spring tease. Winter is like that in Western New York. Just when you get a feeling of warmth, a storm comes in and you don’t see grass for over a week. Sooo I pulled together some of the winter highlights to remind myself I do love snow. Just not March snow. Last week we lost electricity which meant a night with no heat. Brrrrr… So far we’ve only had one person stuck in our yard during tax season. Seriously, the do no park on the grass is for our you our guest. You will get stuck and You will need to be towed out.
It’s been a grueling winter. Our schedules jammed packed with projects and clients. I wish there was more snowman making to share but alas we’re in tax season in the studio. Bruce has 39 more days to finish up all his client’s taxes. I try and keep my half of the studio creative and ignore all the numbers happening on the other side. I’m taking Fridays to catch up with all the new programs and training and catch up on my own marketing. At Tint Press there is a new accounting system, a new CRM, and a new proofing software system which I’ll share more in depth.
Luckily, no flu hit us but Bruce is down one appendix. February was all sorts of fun! So look forward to getting back and sharing some more behind the scenes. We have seeds growing in the studio, new client projects completing, and a whole bunch design projects in the house that need to be shared.
So that’s what we’ve been up to! Hope your winter was full of marshmallows and cocoa and sledding.
