Seven more week of tax season! Yes, we’re counting down over here. He’s got 215 taxes done and in queue. Bruce is on the brisk of complete tax daze. So I instituted tapas Sundays throughout tax season and maybe beyond. He’s working 50 hours a week and now with seven weeks left it will be more like 60 hours a week. We see him in the morning for about an hour, a 1/2 hour at lunch and three hours at night. Then snoozeville takes him.
So he spent most of the day putting the greenhouse back together and came in around 4 this afternoon. Of course this was after a morning of taxes from home. Tax Tax Tax Taxes. We found two new recipes for tapas Sunday to make. This week it was deep fried eggplant chips with artichoke asiago dipping sauce and orange wine kielbasa. So here’s the first part of the tapas…. Orange Wine Kielbasa
- 1 lb Turkey Kielbasa *We went turkey to save some calories
- 1/2 cup Red Wine
- 1 Orange
Preheat oven to 350.
Cut in slices about a 1/2 inch wide.
Place in a baking pan for 20 minutes until kielbasa starts to turn brown.
Remove from oven and zest with one orange and pour red wine over kielbasa.
Cook for 10 minutes more.
Place in serving dish and pour the red wine zest over the kielbasa. Squeeze one half of the orange on top of the oranges. Enjoy with red wine.
