It’s been a surprise to see what flowers come up this spring. The biggest surprise, tons of peonies in the middle of the lawn popping up. I love peonies even with all the ants they bring with them. Colors range from light pinks to dark reds. Not all of them are out yet but I’ve been making arrangements all over.
Surprise! Peonies in the lawn.
As much as I love peonies… I really dislike all the grass in between them. Stick in eye when it comes to weeding them! Stick in eye! Especially when I realized I’m allergic to grass. I’ve been waiting for them to bloom to move them all to the garden. I tried in early spring to move them but just ended up breaking the tops of all of them. They’re new home will eventually be in the garden lining a pathway. As for now when you drive by and I’m sneezing and weeding feel my pain.
Notice the background… Wallpaper almost all down in the dining room!
This cute little vase I got at an antique store, Faded Elegance in Frewsburg this weekend. Bringing a little color into our dingy renovating bathroom. Loving the pink and blue together. Frewsburg had their yearly village wide garage sale. I didn’t find any treasures at the garage sale this year but I did get to have an amish breakfast. SOOOO yummy. Amish donut? Why, yes please, I think I will have one!
