I have a small collection of copper tea kettles. As a child, I was always enamored with Martha Stewart’s French Copper Collection. Yes, her collection from Turkey Hill is now in her barn. Needless to say, her barn is nicer than my home and her copper is beyond polished.
So, I was inspired to bring out the tools to polish for Tuesday Kitchen Gadget day.
|Time to brighten up the copper|
|Mix Baking Soda, Water and Lemon till you get a paste. For tough spots I add a little salt. Then rub with a soft cloth.|
|It’s satisfying to see the grunge… A simple pleasure.|
|For tough spots leave the mixture sit for a few minutes, less elbow grease needed.|
|I may be here awhile but the gleam is well worth it.|
