When I first received my iPad I was looking around for some games to play and I came across The Smurf’s Village app. That brief flicker of remembrance of little blue Smurf’s from when I was a kid prompted me to download the app and give it a try. It was too late because I became addicted. The concept of the game is that Gargamel has found your village and the Smurf’s are scattered all over. It is your goal to rebuild the village and bring all the Smurf’s back home. All your favorite characters are there from Papa Smurf to Brainy and Smurfette, Handy, Vanity, Baby Smurf and every other Smurf you can think of. Mind you it may seem like fun but having the responsibility to rebuild the village and stay clear of Gargamel is always a challenge. Planting crops for money to buy houses and characters all the while gaining xp to get to higher levels is where you start but it does not end there.
The game is in depth and requires a lot of time and sometimes real money to proceed, I say real money because the smurfberry commodity costs money to buy and is charged to your iTunes account. However, to enjoy the game you do not have to spend any money but for specific add ons and characters. If you loved the Smurfs as a kid or are just finding them now The Smurf’s Village app is a great experience.
